30 years heavy and precision engineering experience. Started working with hydropower in 2009. Jevon saw the potential for innovative high efficiency designs, and formed his own company Vortex Group. The company has rapidly grown, supplying engineering services to NZ/Asia/Pacific regions.

As commercial manager for Vortex Group, Ed has worked in the team with Jevon & Aidan for 13 years. He has 25 years experience with various industrial markets in Europe and NZ. Ed supervises the tendering and quoting, procurement activities of the three Vortex divisions.

With a long career in hydropower system construction, Anthony brings the expertise of many hydro system builds/rebuilds as well as modernisation into the Vortex Group. He undertakes the sales engineering role, gathering customer requirements and design specifications.

Simon comes from a background of project management carrying a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Assisting with Hydro turbine CAD designs, drawings, and calculations. 3D scanning and post processing, turbine job management, procurement and job costing, quoting, estimating and invoicing.
